Jasen Leo Shinn, 8 months old, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2019, at his home in Wichita.

Jasen was born the son of Justin Shinn and Alexia Arguello on Thursday, November 15, 2018, in Wichita.

In his 8 short months, Jasen received love and gave love to all he came in touch with. He loved lots of different animals but his favorite of all was the sloth. Jasen will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Alexia Arguello (Kameron); grandmother, Sheryl Williams; grandfather, Jesus Arguello; grandparents, Stephanie and Clint Lyons; grandfather, Jerry Shinn; great-grandparents, Bill and Kathy Coen, Irene Niles and Francis Osterhaut; great-great-grandmother, Shirley Plush, aunts and uncles: Adam and Gabby Travis, Kelsi Arguello, Trace Savage, Tiffany Spencer, Teri Spencer, Calelynn Shinn, Jeremy Shinn, Skyla and Garrett Menges, Cierra Doyle and AALeaha Lyons along with many great aunts, uncles, cousins and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Justin Shinn; aunt, Alondra Vazquez; grandmother, Mary Arguello; great-grandparents, Leroy and Dixie Shinn, Richard Niles and great-great-grandpa, Leo Kopplin.

Funeral services for Jasen will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 at Country Acres Southern Baptist Church, Wichita.

Interment will follow at Maize Park Cemetery, Maize.
