Cueball, In June I sent an few words about my niece Amy Simpson Dodson to the infamous Wellington Daily News. Amy was featured on the cover of the July Runner’s World. Being from Wellington it would have been nice had they mentioned it.. somewhere. It certainly have made her mother and father proud to know Wellington knew about Amy’s accomplishment. (Corky Simpson who you may remember worked for the WDN years ago.) Ten or twelve emails back and forth.. lots of promises… and nothing. We are obviously not to happy with your former employer. And obviously the new guy in town (Nate Jones) didn’t think letting Amy’s friends in Wellington know about her accomplishment.
I just wanted you to know… I was upset with the news, then I found your website. I sent your website address to Corky and he is very impressed with what you are doing.
We all are enjoying what you are doing wish you the best. You deserve it… And so does WDN. Everyone I have talked with will not be renewing with WDN. It’s sad. I hate to see any paper die but they just do not seem to care. You are leaving them in your dust young man. Paula Tatum
