Wellington Chamber announces annual golf tournament is slated for Sunday, Aug. 2

Sumner Newscow report — The 16th annual Wellington Area Chamber Golf Classic will be held Sunday, Aug. 2 at noon with a shotgun start at the Wellington Golf Club.

Entry fee will be $80 per player including a golf cart, bottled water, meal and prizes to be provided. There will also be a beer cart on the golf course during play. Prizes and meal at WGC Pavilion will follow the tournament. There will be a hole-in-one contest along with several raffle prices.

Additional prizes include closest-to-the-hole #6 and #11 and longest drives #12 and #18.

There will be a sponsor a hole for $100. Turn in the entry form at Wellington Golf Club by July 31. Entry form can be found here
