By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow—The Wellington Citywide Garage Sale is the weekend of April 18, and the world needs to know you are having one. The deadline to advertise on the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce map brochure was noon today and is now over.

You can still advertise on the site. It just won’t be included with the map brochure.

Go ahead and post your garage sale in the comment section below. When submitting, please include your first and last name, e-mail, and phone number in case we need to reach you.

If you are having trouble posting, e-mail us at sumnernewscow@gmail.com. Please title the e-mail with the heading “garage sale.” We will then include it in the comment section. Please only do this if you cannot post directly in the comment section.

We will periodically remind the shopping troops about your sale throughout the coming weeks. On the Friday before the event, we will put together a digital/paper map including the addresses on this site. Hard copies of the map will be supplied at the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce building at Memorial Auditorium and at the nearby kiosk at Heritage park in downtown Wellington. We will also have an alphabetical listing of the garage sales on the Newscow site.

To be included on the map, you must submit your garage sales here. You will not be included on the map after that deadline.

Have yourself a great Garage Sale weekend!
