MEDALLION CLUES AND EXPLANATION:  Prize for finding the medallion is $100.

Clue 1:  Up the trail follow the herd, it’s medallion time – spread the word!

The medallion is along the Chisholm Trail.

Clue 2:  Take the bull by the horns, but avoid a stampede.  A few more steps are all you need. (The bull refers to the one at the Stock Exchange Bank. It is hidden a few steps from there.)

Clue 3:  It’s clear to see its resting place.  It’s as plain as the nose on your face.

            (It’s wrapped in Saran Wrap.)

Clue 4:  Johnny will lead you right to the prize.  Look!  It’s right before your eyes!

(Johnny refers to Johnny Bench, and it’s hidden beneath the bench.)

Clue 5:  A farmer’s tool is here as well; he needs it for his crop to sell.

(The farmer’s tool is a tractor which is on the bench in front of the Messenger.)

MEDALLION WAS FOUND BY ALICIA SHAFFER AFTER CLUE 5 WAS POSTED.

Clue 6:  The medallion has been put to bed; use this info and you will be led.

(“Put to bed” refers to completing a newspaper and getting it ready for printing.  It’s in front of the Messenger office.)

Clue 7:  Hey, hot rod!  Have a seat.  To win that prize would sure be neat!

(The hot rod is also a cut out on the bench.)

Clue 8:  Don’t shoot the Messenger, just have a chair. Beneath the bench, it’s hidden there!

(The chair is the bench in front of the Messenger.  The medallion was taped to the bottom of the bench.
