Submitted to Sumner Newscow — Sumner County Emergency Communications Watch Supervisor Ashley Helton was presented with the “Stork Award” at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on February 7.

Ashley, an Emergency Medical Dispatcher with SCEC, assisted with the successful delivery of an infant on January 24, providing telephone instructions using EMD protocols.  Congratulations Ashley!  Shown above (L to R) 911 Director John Tracy, Commissioner Jim Newell, Helton, Commission Chairman Cliff Bales, and Commissioner Steve Warner.  Shown below is Ashley with her Stork Award and Letter of Commendation.
