Caldwell teams eliminated by St. John-Hudson in Norwich sub-state

Sumner Newscow report — The Caldwell school district was the lone school that had both its girls and boys teams in the sub-state championship in Norwich. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a Bluejay kind of night.

St. John-Hudson scored two wins over Caldwell squads Saturday. The girls lost the first game 45-35. They finish the year 14-8. In the boys championship, the Bluejays were manhandled by St. John-Hudson 58-29. Caldwell finished the year 17-5 and won the regular South-Central Border League. Sumner Newscow reporter Eric Rinehart was there to shoot photos.
