by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — With Wellington High School graduation ceremony set for Saturday at 2 p.m., Sumner Newscow is featuring the six students who were named Valedictorian of the Class of 2018. We have featured a senior every 12 hours leading up to graduation which is today at 2 p.m.

Name: Kialee LeValley

Parents: Chad LeValley and Jill Houchens.
High school accomplishments: Student of the Month as a sophomore, Nationals in Florida for BPA, Secretary of BPA as a senior, Lion’s Club Junior Award, WSU Honor Scholar, Kansas Honor Scholar.

Future aspirations: I am going to WSU to study marketing. I want to do something within that field.

Favorite past-time: Reading/writing, Netflix, hanging out with friends

strong>Favorite TV show: The 100.

>Favorite movie: Lord of the Rings.

Favorite book: Too many to list.

Favorite teacher: Ford and Wilmoth.

Person you admire: Family and teachers.

Most memorable school moment: My school trip to nationals for BPA in Florida was the most memorable time of my high school experience. I enjoyed traveling because it was my first time on an airplane, and I loved Universal Studios and Disney World.
