•Sub-state basketball at Wellington, Girls play at 7:30 p.m.

Friday

•Sub-state basketball at Wellington, Girls play at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday

•Substate Basketball Championship games: 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Today’s lunch —  Baked Ham, Potatoes with Brown Gravy, Green Beans, Hot Roll, Pineapple and Milk.

Tuesday’s lunch — Hot Dog with Bun, Baked Beans, Baby Carrots, Mandarin Oranges, Tostitos and Milk.

Today’s News:

*There will be a shortened schedule tomorrow due to pep assembly. Seniors- Please plan accordingly.

*There will be a meeting for the Clay Target Club Monday March 7th at 7pm in the auditorium. Parents need to attend this meeting.  We will be selecting the team that night.  Remember that we can only have 20 members on the team. If you want to be on the team you and a parent need to be present Monday night.

*WHS students: If you are planning on attending the sub-state games to be held at the high school on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the cost will be $5.00 each night you attend. WHS girls will play against Mulvane on Thursday at 7:30 and WHS boys will play against Winfield Friday at 7:30. The championship games will be Saturday with girls playing at 6:00 and boys at 7:30 with the teams to be determined. Adult admission is $6 and NO passes will be accepted. Admission for Students K-12 is $5.

*Seniors: Jostens will be here on March 23rd during the three lunches to deliver your orders.

*Golf Practice will be in Coach Ginter’s Room today at 3:20.

*Project Prom is alternating venues between the High School and an off-site venue.  This year project prom is at All-Star Sports. There will still be the same great prizes but with new activities. Please visit their website at www.wgtnprojectprom.wix.com/projectprom  for more information.

*There will be a short meeting immediately after school today for anyone interested in trying out for the cheer squad. Please meet in the commons.

*Crusader Creators will meet today after school. Don’t forget your shirt for tie-dye!

*Senior Girls: Just a reminder that the Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship application is due into the counselors office by Thursday March 10th.

*Almost Maine Cast needs to report to Mrs. Kelly’s room during 2nd hour on Thursday for Pictures/headshots.

*WHS will be doing a school unity lip dub video. If you wish to lip sync in a club, sport or activity that you are a member of-please sign up in the office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Defore in room 208.
