Driver’s Education course to be offered this summer for students
Submitted to Sumner Newscow — A Driver Education course will be offered this summer for students who have completed their eighth grade year of school and who will be 14 years of age by May 31, 2016, but not yet 21 years of age by September 1, 2016. Enrollment will be limited to the first 112 students who complete the enrollment procedure. An enrollment packet has been sent home on April 11 with all Wellington Middle School 8th graders and all interested students from Wellington High School.
Two sessions will be offered one from June 6-July 1 and the second July 5 – July 29. Cost of the course is $150 for in-district students and $200Â for out-of-district students. This fee is non-refundable once students have begun their behind-the-wheel training. No fees will be waived for this course.
