Christeen Williams

Christeen F. Williams, of Wellington, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington at the age of 83.

Christeen was born the daughter of Elmer and Genevia (Lee) Taylor on Thursday, October 06, 1932 in a log cabin near Wilson, Oklahoma.

On November 19, 1950, Dean and Christeen Fay Taylor were united in marriage in Hobart, Oklahoma. Together they celebrated over 59 years of marriage before his passing in 2010.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Williams and his wife Merry; son, Billy Williams, grandchildren: Timothy Williams and his wife Crystal, Samantha Koehler and her husband Chad, Jenifer Rains and her husband Eugene White and Rita Howell all of Wellington, great-grandchildren: Emileigh Speagle, Hannah Speagle, Olivia Speagle, Steven Williams, Charlie Williams, Jessica Rains, Drake Rains, Timothy White, Matthew Howell, Reanna Howell and Brian Mitchell, great-great-grandchildren: Jeanae Louise Long, Jayden West and Jordan West; brother, George Taylor of Long Grove, Oklahoma and sister, Vivian Ashley of Kellyville, Oklahoma. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Patricia White; brothers, Bryce and Delmar Taylor and daughter-in-law, Barbara Williams.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Christeen will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home & Crematory, Wellington.

Interment will follow at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington.

A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to the Wellington Humane Society. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home.
