This Friday’s feature film: PG-13 (for supernatural action and some crude humor). Time: 1 hour 45 minutes.

Movie Synopsis: Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today–Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. This summer, they’re here to save the world!

Rotten Tomatoes rating (movie critics collective approval ratings): 73%. Audience review: 58% liked it. Critic’s consensus: Ghostbustersdoes an impressive job of standing on its own as a freewheeling, marvelously cast supernatural comedy — even if it can’t help but pale somewhat in comparison with the classic original.
