Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Jack!

Jack is almost 3 years old and a large mixed breed at 65 pounds. He was originally brought in as a tiny puppy found in the country. He was adopted but had to come back due to life circumstances beyond his control. Jack enjoys lots of attention, getting pets, playing, and especially cuddling on the couch! He is learning to play with other dogs in playgroup and doing an excellent job! This long-legged, handsome boy is ready for furever home to spoil him!

Come in this week to meet this special dog! The Wellington Humane Society is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. -2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $50 off dogs during their week! We are also having an October Adoption Special! The adoption special is combined with the Pet of the Week discount, so the adoption fee is waived during their week!
