BADE Truck to hold a fundraiser tonight to help raise money for Kanyian Armenta family
Sumner Newscow report — BADE Truck is holding a fundraiser tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. to help raise money for the family of Kanyian “Tater” Armenta, an 8-year-old Lincoln Elementary student, who died on April 11.
This was posted on the BADE Truck Facebook page:
Bade Truck wants to be able to help our community start to heal after the tragic loss of Kanyian aka “Tater”. We’ll be selling next to Sonic, under the awning (for weather purposes), Tuesday, April 19 from 5-7 and all profits will go to his family. We’ll also donate 10 percent sales for the rest of the month to the family in additional support.
It’s hard to write a post like this because all we want to do is honor this sweet child and raise the family to the community. It’s not about praising anyone’s efforts, just holding our community when we hurt.
