Ben Moring

Ben E. Moring, Jr. died on Nov. 7, 2015 at the age of 90.

He was born to Ben and Pearl (Michaels) Moring on June 30, 1925 in Anthony, KS. On April 27, 1944 he and Thelma Rose Wassenberg were married in Wichita, KS. He was a retired Boeing Aircraft engineering draftsman.

Survivors include his daughters: Rita Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Joan Myers (Jerry) of Wichita, KS, Pat Pickrell of Wichita, KS, Alyssa Hendry (Dale) of Peck, KS, Frances Yoder (Mike) of Wellington, KS; son, Dwayne Moring (Melissa)of Goddard, KS; grandchildren: Chris Barker, Jaret Barker, Sarah Watts, Bobby Stinson, David Stinson, Jennifer Dorsey, Adrian Hendry, Nathan Hendry, Willow Moring, Tjaden Moring, Orion Moring, Natasha Self, Zachary Stevenson, Kara Peterson, Andrew Yoder, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Harold Gene Moring and twin daughters, Theresa Rose and Jean Marie Moring. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015; Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, both at St. John Catholic Church, Clonmel, KS.
