Beverly Ruth Stangl

Beverly Ruth Stangl of Wellington died on November 23, 2022, with her family by her side at the age of 65.

Beverly was born the daughter of Clarence and Verna (Clausen) Weber on December 30, 1956, in Gothenberg, Nebraska.

On May 20, 1978 Beverly and Charles Stangl were united in marriage in Wellington. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Beverly loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time playing bingo for years. You could always see her at bingo at least once a weekend. She also worked at Hanans family cafe for years.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Stangl of Wellington; son, Chris Stangl of Wellington; daughter, Charlene Herndon (Fabian) of Arkansas, City; grandchildren: Aubrey Stangl, Xavier Herndon, Darius Herndon, Xavier Bressie, Logan Bressie; great-grandchildren: Sal Osborne, Asher Stangl, Ariana Osborne, and Tank Osborne; sisters: Norma Linder, Opal McCord, Martha Tracy, Marla Stangl (Donnie), Maggie Weber, Christine Schmidt (Chris), Linda Crain; brothers: Richard Weber (Ardie), Kenneth Weber, Gene Weber, and Loren Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Don, Jimmy, and Terry; sisters: Mary and Kathy and grandchildren Seth and Kiersten Stangl.

Memorial services for Beverly will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the Chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home + Crematory in Wellington.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given to assist with funeral expenses.
