Bonnie L. (Larimore) Quillin went home to be with her Lord on October 1, 2016.  She was born September 4, 1927 in Ashton, Kansas to Charles J. and Carrie M. (Cutwright) Larimore.  She attended all school years in South Haven, graduating from High School in 1945.

Bonnie was married to Burl F. Quillin on February 16, 1947.  To this union three sons were born – John (Wichita), David (Kismet) and Warren (Lawrence).     

Bonnie was involved most of her life in all phases of Church activities, from teaching youth and adult classes, youth and adult choir to directing Christmas and Easter pageants and plays. In other words any and all programs involving music.  She was the Church pianist for the past 50 years.

 Bonnie was a stay at home wife and mom involved in farming and family.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, doing puzzles, family activities and Church.  Bonnie brought food to her friends and anyone in need.  She canned, froze, made jelly out of any fruit that grew in the southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma region. Whether she was cooking for the fair dinner or helping with the many funeral dinners that the church provided, she was always one of the first to volunteer.  She was known for her good nature and generosity throughout the community that she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband Burl, her parents; brothers Kenneth and James; sisters Doris Mambi, Lois Popplewell, and Betty Melton.  

Survivors include her sons:  John (Gayle), David (Carolyn) and Warren (Vickie).  She also has 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 with family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the South Haven Christian Church, South Haven, Kansas. Pastor Darren Williams will officiate.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery near South Haven, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the South Haven Christian Church. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
