Caldwell Messenger Suites offers a unique mix of luxury and charm
by Pam Strader, Sumner Newscow — The Caldwell Messenger Suites offer a unique mix of luxury and charm. Opened in 2006 in the historic building that was home to the Caldwell Messenger, the building underwent a total renovation in 2006. Today where news was once printed, is a hotel and coffee shop with much history and character.
The Messenger Suites is a homey boutique hotel with rooms that are spacious and comfortable. Both king and queen suites are available. The hotel caters to weddings, reunions, and other special occasions. If you are looking for a place where you can leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life, Caldwell Suites can ensure you a relaxing weekend away.
The coffee shop is open 5 days a week, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. offering freshly baked pastries and assorted drinks. Within the coffee shop, a meeting room is available to groups; please call to reserve.
The antique printing press is still located in the building and is available for viewing. Come see a piece of American history.
