Caldwell’s Dawson Bristor named Big Cheese Athlete of the Week
by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Dawson Bristor, a Caldwell sophomore, has been named Big Cheese Athlete of the week.
Bristor helped lift the Bluejays to a 30-28 victory over Medicine Lodge in the second round of the eight-man division one playoffs Friday. He had three touchdowns in the game on five receptions for 105 yards. His longest came on a key fourth-quarter touchdown pass for 44 yards from Caleb Noyes.
For his effort, Bristor receives a free large delicious pizza from Big Cheese Pizza at 324 N. Washington in Wellington.
