City refuse collection routes will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of holiday
Sumner Newscow report — Due to the observance of Independence Day on Monday, July 5, the Landfill & Recycling Center will be closed. Monday’s refuse collection routes will be completed on Tuesday, July 6.
Due to the potential need for disposing of tree limbs/brush/yard waste from the recent excessive rains, the Compost Site will be open on Monday, July 5 with normal hours (12 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
