Conway Springs’ Brayden Kunz is named Big Cheese Athlete of the Week

by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Brayden Kunz, a Conway Springs junior for the Cardinal football team, has been named Big Cheese Athlete of the Week.
Kunz went wild as a running back giving Conway Springs its first victory of the year — a 43-13 throttling against Medicine Lodge.
He scored six touchdowns in the game for 11, 32, 14, 78, 34, and 3 yards. He scored every touchdown for the Cardinals. He rushed for 331 yards on 34 attempts for a 9.7 yard average to improve Conway Springs to 1-3.
For his effort, Kunz is a recipient of a large delicious Big Cheese Pizza at 234 N. Washington in Wellington.
