The Robotics Challenge aims to inspire and provide students with an opportunity to learn about robotic technology, write computer programs, code, be creative, learn to work as a team, follow complex directions, be detail-oriented, make better decisions, and solve problems.
This year’s Robotics Challenge will feature 29 teams from 14 schools. The Basic Competition will start on April 27 at 9 a.m., followed by the Advanced Competition on April 28 at 9 a.m. Schools represented in the competition include Arkansas City Middle School, Belle Plaine Middle School, Caldwell Middle School, Clearwater Intermediate and Middle School, Oxford Middle School, South Haven Middle School, Wellington Christian, Wellington Eisenhower Elementary, and Wellington Middle School.
Cowley College, KanOkla Networks, Sumner Cowley Electric Coop, and Sumner County Economic Development are proud partners of the Robotics Challenge.
The Robotics Challenge promises to be an exciting event that brings together the rigors of science and technology with the thrill of sport. We invite the public to attend and support these young minds as they showcase their robotic skills.
