Crack-sealing at Wheat Ridge is complete; North Plum Street is next

Road Work ahead try this again!!!!Sumner Newscow report — The City of Wellington Street Department has finished crack-sealing in Wheat Ridge and will begin on North Plum Street (from 16th Street to 22nd Street) today.

Look for continuous updates on routes and status of crack-sealing for more up-to-date information so that residents will know which days they should not park on the streets in their area.

Crack sealing consists of blowing debris out of cracks and sealing them with an oil based material to prevent water from getting underneath the street surface.

In order to be effective, we must have access to the full length of all cracks within that block of street.

Please do not park on these streets Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. during this period of time.

For more information, please contact the Street Department at 326-7831.
