Craig Boatright, 55, of Wellington, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church in Wellington. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Wellington. No family night is scheduled. Craig Riley Boatright was born on July 10, 1959 the son of Lawrence L. and Mary Cole Boatright in Wellington. Craig was a 1977 graduate of the Wellington High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from K.U. In his younger years Craig enjoyed long distance running, swimming and tennis.

He worked as an accountant and with computers for many years. He regularly volunteered at the Chisholm Trail Museum and had been a faithful blood donor since high school.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Boatright of Wellington, sisters, Nancy Staley and husband Ed of Wellington, Janet Shockley and husband Dennis of Edmond, OK and twin sister, Brenda Sniezek and husband Robert Jr. of Prairie Village, KS as well as 11 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
