Diana Page

Diana Page, 68, died on January 9, 2016 after a prolonged battle with a sudden illness. She was fortunate to be in the presence of her beloved family at her passing.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Wellington. Diana was born on December 21, 1947, to Richard and Christina Abbott. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1965. She married Steven Page on December 5, 1969 and together they raised three children. Diana’s successful career in the financial industry culminated in a 19 year partnership with Edward Jones that she cherished.

Her natural ability to light up a room and make you feel comfortable with a glowing smile or warm hug made every day with her a blessing.  More than anything Diana loved family time. She also enjoyed traveling, entertaining, shopping and cooking. Diana was a selfless soul who will be missed greatly but we take solace knowing she will be walking with her father Richard in the Lords Garden.

Diana is survived by her loving husband Steven Page; her mother Christina (Wichita, KS); two siblings Richard Abbott (Nashville, TN) and Karen Herdt (Hutchinson, KS); Children: Darren and wife Donna (Wellington, KS), Jeremy and wife Tracey (Wichita, KS), Monica and husband Mark (Spartanburg, SC) and was the loving Nana to Mariah, Lakin, Emily, Gabriel, Ashlyn, Brendan, Kaitlyne, Sebastian and Nadia.

She is preceded in death by her father Richard Abbott.
