Earthquake(s) felt in Sumner County earlier today
Sumner Newscow report — There were two earthquakes this afternoon felt in Sumner County. As always some felt it, others did not.
According to the earthquake.usgs.gov the epicenter for the Oct. 2, 2014 quakes occurred about seven miles southeast of Harper. The first one registered at 1:01 p.m. and had a 4.4 magnitude. The second one registered at 3.4 magnitude at 1:36 p.m.
