Elijah Mark Kriefels

Elijah Mark Kreifels, of Conway Springs, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at just 27 days old. Elijah was born the son of Chance and Rilee (Strange) Kreifels on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Fondly known as “Tuffy” by his Grandpa and “Little Man” by many, he was a joyous bundle of life. His infectious big smile and his unique “Jazz Hands” brought unmeasurable happiness to everyone around him. His love for car rides knew no boundaries, every bump being a new adventure for him. Elijah’s sweet innocence was reflected in the way he would push out his lips as if he were offering a kiss to the world. He had a special love for music and enjoyed being serenaded. His bath times were pure delight, especially when warm water trickled on his head.

Elijah is survived by his loving parents, Chance and Rilee Kreifels; grandparents, Brian and Bethany Strange and Amy Moreland; aunts, Dalee Strange and Olivia Martin (James); uncles: Kai Black (Mariah), Cobi Black, Alec Black, Noah Strange, Colton Strange, Drake Kreifels (Emma), Klyde Kreifels (Maddie), Landon Kreifels, and 10 cousins along with numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jon and Lauree Kreifels and cousin, Carson Black.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

Funeral services for Elijah will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Porter Cemetery near Clearwater, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses. Contributions can be mailed or called into the funeral home during normal business hours.
