Elsa is the Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Elsa!
Elsa is a beautiful long-haired girl. Some might call her a diva! She is another case of someone leaving behind their cat when they moved. A caring neighbor was able to keep her safe until we had room for her. She has been around cats, children, and dogs and did well. She is just over a year old and ready for a home to love and keep her forever!
Stop in this week to meet this special pet! The WHS is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. -2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before coming in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better!
During the month of August, we are celebrating the Clear The Shelters event by NBCUniversal. We have special adoption fees all month! What better way to celebrate than helping Lucy find her furever home! Plus, the Pet of the Week has an additional discount of $50 off dogs and $10 off cats during their week!
Adoption Fees during August:
Puppies (under 1 year) $100
Dogs (over 1 year) $75
Kittens (under 1 year) $30
Cats (over 1 year) $20
