Fallyn Skye Augustyn

Fallyn Skye Augustyn, of Wichita, KS, died too soon on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at her home at the age of only 19 days old.

Fallyn was born the daughter of Cody Wayne Augustyn and Heather Terese Scheer on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

Although Fallyn was only with us for a short time, she made a profound impact on everyone who knew and loved her. Fallyn had the prettiest eyes and the biggest smile that would melt your heart. She was the happiest little baby ever, always bringing a smile to those around her. Fallyn’s big sisters had difficulty saying her name, so she was referred to as “Birdie.”

Survivors include her parents: Cody Augustyn and Heather Scheer of Wichita, KS; siblings: Ayden Augustyn of Wellington; Brennen Wolff of Wichita; Ashtyn Augustyn of Wichita; Gracelyn Schippers of Wichita; Aspen Schippers of Wichita; grandparents: Jeff and Lou Ann Scheer of Garden Plain; Michael Augustyn of Belle Plaine; Lois Augustyn of Wellington; great grandparents: Kenny and Bonnie Scheer of Garden Plain, and Beverly Pickens of Wellington, along with many other family members. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents; Roy (Pat) and Almeda Patry and Perry Pickens, who will be with her and look over her now.

 A viewing will be held at the Cornejo Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. The family requests that no children be present at the viewing. Services for Fallyn will be privately held at a later date.
