Glenna Masonhall Wilson, 93, Wellington: Dec. 18, 1928 – Aug. 29, 2022
Glenna Masonhall Wilson died on Monday, August 29, 2022, in Mulvane at the age of 93. Glenna was born the daughter of Orville Park and Elsie Finley on December 18, 1928, in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Elsie later married Billie Spears, who loved Glenna as his own.
In September of 1950, Glenna married Bill Masonhall, and the couple had two children: Karen and Jeff. Glenna and Bill celebrated 37 years together before his passing in 1987. In 1999, Glenna found love again and married Dale Wilson. They celebrated nine years together before his passing in 2008.
She was forever grateful for the wonderful memories she made with both Bill and Dale.
Glenna worked in the Register of Deeds at the Sumner County Courthouse for many years. Glenna retired from the position at the courthouse and, within a couple of weeks, was called to work for Rogers Abstract & Title. She enjoyed both her positions and the detail that they required.
Her faith was important to her, and she enjoyed attending church with her family. Glenna grew up Baptist but attended the Christian Church when she and Bill were married. Following his passing, she began attending the Methodist Church with Dale. She shared that her secret to happiness is “to hold to the truth that the Lord make happiness. We don’t do it on our own.”
