The City of Wellington is currently seeking applicants for the position of City Planner.  Under supervision of the City Manager, this position is responsible for the operation, supervision and functions of the Building, Codes and Zoning Department to include planning, inspections and code compliance, as well as, writing (or assisting in writing), interpreting and applying a variety of state and local codes, ordinances and regulations. 

This position requires a valid driver’s license, certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners is desired and a degree in planning, public administration or any equivalent combination of education and experience to ensure the required knowledge is preferred.  The Salary exempt range is from $58,968 to $88,005. DOQ, with a standard benefit package.
