The City of Wellington is currently taking applications for the positions of Street Laborer and Street Operator 1.  Under supervision, this position is responsible for performing routine semi-skilled work in the construction and maintenance of the city street system and other work activities leading to the acquisition of equipment operator skills, or in the case of Operator 1, utilizing existing skills.   Diploma or GED required, with experience and knowledge of equipment operation preferred, valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL.   Salary range is $10.84 to $15.71 DOQ, or $$13.53 to $20.19 DOQ respectively with excellent benefits.  EOE, Drug-free workplace.  Apply at www.cityofwellington.net or at City Hall, 317 S.
