Help wanted: Operator 1 – Park Department.

The City of Wellington is accepting applications for the position of Operator 1 – Park Department responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of City parks and recreational grounds, aquatic center, and the Memorial Auditorium.  Work involves performing various manual tasks, groundskeeping tasks, and operating various mechanical and power tools. Building maintenance tasks include limited plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.  Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s License and obtain, within six months of employment, and maintain a valid Kansas Commercial Driver’s License.  The salary range is $13.53 to $20.19 DOQ with benefits.
