Sumner Newscow report â€” Here are important dates to remember for the election:

October 18:Â Last day to register to vote for the November 8 election.Â You must re-register if you have:

â€¢Changed your name.

â€¢Moved â€“ even a move across the street could put you in a different representative district

October 19:Â Advance voting by mail begins.Â You must complete an application for Advance Voting Ballot.Â Once an application is received, voter registration is confirmed and a ballot is mailed to the voter.

Ballots must be returned to the County Election office by 7 p.m., November 8. Ballots canÂ be returned by mail or in person.

November 1: Advance voting in person begins,

November 4: Last day to mail ballots.

November 7: Advance voting in person ends at noon.

November 8: ELECTION DAY.Â Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
