Jelina Rose Keeling, 59, Wellington: Jan. 1, 1967 – July 27, 2026

Jelina Keeling

Jelina Rose Keeling, of Wellington, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the age of 59.

Jelina was born the daughter of Thomas and Terry (Kabureck) Keeling on January 1, 1967, in Panorama City, California.

Jelina’s life was a testament to love, support, compassion, and dedication. Her life was a beacon of warmth that touched everyone she met, consistently illuminating the world around her even in the darkest of times. She had the kind of heart that was as wide as the ocean, always ready to envelop those around her with love and care, always ready to support in times of need.

Jelina was a woman of simple pleasures. Her love for the outdoors was palpable, often spending her free time fishing, bathing in the sun’s warmth, and taking in the beauty of nature. She also had a fondness for teddy bears, their soft fur and comforting presence as they filled her home, mirroring her own nurturing spirit. Above all, Jelina was a family woman. Her children and grandchildren were her world, the epicenter of her universe, the reason her heart beat.

Jelina is survived by her son, Steven Mellen of MT; daughter, Dana Christmann of ID; grandchildren, Loren Frank Mellen of MT; Aidan Mellen of MT; Mia Mellen of MT; Colton Staley of MT; Lateisha Irene of MT; Ann Marie Petty of MT; Joe Petty of MT; mother, Terry Sizemore of KS; brother, Loren (Becky) Alexander of KS; uncle, Floyd Kabureck of KS; aunts, Evelyn Rose of KS; Kathy Teague of KS; and Penny Watts of KS.
