Jo Jeana Martin Robertson.

Jo Jeana Martin Robertson, 67, died peacefully on April 26, 2025, at her home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her “Boys.”

Jo was born in Wellington on October 15, 1957, to J.B. “Dad” Martin and Donnis Martin. She attended Wellington Schools and graduated in 1975. Jo continued her education at the St. Francis School of Nursing in Wichita. Jo spent many years as a traveling RN and resided in many states, including Kansas, New York, Arizona, and Texas. She was a very dedicated Surgical RN who was highly respected in her profession.

In December 1991, Jo was united in marriage to “Roby” Charles B. Robertson IV in Wellington at the First Baptist Church.  Jo was the mother of two sons; Roby J Robertson and Cade Robertson, and adopted nephew, Joseph James Potestivo. These “boys” were the love of her life. She didn’t make one decision that she didn’t have their best interest in mind. The “Boys” were by Jo’s side every step of the way.

Jo is survived by Roby Robertson of the home, sons Roby J, Cade (Stephen) of Dallas, and Nephew Joseph Potestivo, Florence, Italy, and Granddaughter Kennedy Elaine Robertson. Also remembering Jo is her siblings: Debbie Potestivo, Jemi (Greg) SteinKamp, and Donette (Mike) Cypert.  Jo is preceded in death by her parents JB and Donnis Martin, and many aunts and uncles.

Along with Jo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Following Jo’s passing, a private family gathering took place at the home. A celebration of life will take place in the future when more of her family is available. The family requests no flowers or gifts, but donations to a charity of their choice in her name are welcome.
