Joe Soria announces he will be running for Wellington Mayor this fall

Sumner Newscow report — Wellington City Councilman Joe Soria has kicked off the local political campaign in 2023 by announcing he is running for mayor.
The Sumner County Clerk’s office released an updated local filing list. The filing deadline is June 1 at 12 p.m. at the clerk’s office for school board and city offices. The filing fee for all offices is $20. If a primary election is needed, it will be on Aug. 1, and the general election will be on Nov. 7.
