K-49 railroad crossing closing for repairs south of U.S. 160/K-49 Junction

Road Work ahead try this again!!!!Sumner Newscow report — Starting June 13th, the BNSF Railway Co will begin a permitted railroad crossing repair project on K-49 Highway between the US-160/K-49 junction and West 20th Street South in Sumner County.  The purpose of the railroad crossing repair project is to conduct routine maintenance and necessary upgrades. It is scheduled to be completed around June 17th, depending on delays due to adverse weather conditions.

Local traffic will need to use alternate routes. With both lanes being affected and closed by the project, through traffic will be detoured around the closing using US-160 and US-81 Highways. Potential time delays greater than thirty minutes can be expected.
