Kacie Faye (Brown) Edwards named Wichita Business Journal 40-under-40 honoree
by Amber Countryman, Sumner Newscow – The Wichita Business Journal recently recognized 2006 Wellington High School graduate Kacie Faye (Brown) Edwards as 2021 40 Under 40 Honoree.
40 Under 40 recognizes the top young professionals that the area has to offer. Edwards was one of 40 nominees from the greater Wichita area, including Harvey, Butler, Sedgwick, and Sumner Counties, and under 40. Nominees were evaluated on leadership, community involvement, and contributions to their organization.
Edwards is Chief Marketing Officer at Steven Enterprises, where she leads a team of individuals who perform Marketing Services to dozens of businesses across the country. Kacie also is a co-owner of Kansas Billboards, LLC, Wichita.
After attending WHS, she would go on to graduate from the University of Kansas in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a minor in film.
Kacie has been the spokesperson for Eddy’s Toyota of Wichita for the past several years, appearing in radio and television commercials. In 2020, Kacie appeared in a WHS Crusader jersey in one of her commercials. Salty Media House (Samson Ledesma) of Wellington provides commercial video production for many of Edward’s commercials. She has returned to her roots to speak at Wellington High School School-to-Career as a guest speaker in the past.

Kacie and her husband, Maury Edwards, reside in Wichita with their dogs Wynnie and Zellie. They are expecting their first child in November.
