Karen Jenkins

Karen Marie Jenkins, 71, of Oxford, died Monday, October 17, 2016, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Oxford Funeral Service – 104 N. Sumner Oxford, KS 67119. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made out to Union Rescue Mission. Contributions can be left in care of the funeral home – P.O. Box 123 Oxford, KS 67119.

Karen was born September 13, 1945 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Koonce) Ketterman. She enjoyed being out and about and attending community events like Arkalalah. Karen dearly loved her family.

Surviving to honor her memory is her husband, Larry of the home; children Marty Jenkins of Wichita, Rickey Jenkins of Tyler, Texas, Janelle and husband Steve Vannoy of Collinsville, Texas. Sisters: Carol Lee of Parsons, Kansas; Sharon and husband Bob Hauber of Winfield; grandchildren: Garrett, Hunter, Laci, Dasa and Hali and great grandchildren: Noah and Ava Grace.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Gary Ketterman.
