Laurel Snide, 52, of Wichita died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Oxford Christian Church. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Oxford Funeral Service from 1 until 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 until 8 p.m.

Laurel Ann Snide was born on January 17, 1964 the daughter of De Verne and Margaret (Pantell) Alexander in Miles City, Montana. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1982. Laurel was a substance abuse peer counselor. She enjoyed going to concerts, movies, playing pool and darts.

Laurel is survived by her children: Mitchell Snide of Ft. Bragg, NC, Tyler Snide of Wichita, KS and Whitney Rudd and husband Taylor of Ft. Hood, TX; a grandson, Macon McBride; one brother, Craig Alexander and wife Gloria of Oxford, KS and a sister Ramona Tener and husband Clifford of Mesa, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
