The repairs to be performed last night did not complete. Mail services are current back online, however we will again have to take the system down for repairs tonight 8-10-16.
Please expect the mail services to be unavailable until the next morning. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.  We will work diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

This was the original letter sent Tuesday:Â
All Sumner Communications E-mail customers,
We experienced an unfortunate incident on Sunday Aug 7th, 2016 which led to our generators failure to automatically start during a power failure in the downtown area where our offices are located. Â This caused all of our servers to hard crash when the batteries were depleted. Â As a result the Mail server, as well as other servers, experienced disk corruption. Â We had an emergency situation occur today as a result and had to put the mail server into repair mode in order to resolve the major portions of the issue. Â Due to the size of the storage volumes in use, this took several hours to complete to a point that we could bring the mail services back online.
Although e-mail services are back, we will unfortunately have to perform more repairs. Â We will begin these repairs around 11 pm tonight and let them run until they are complete. E-mail services will be unavailable during this time, and will hopefully be restored before the morning work day.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Â We will work diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible with minimal disruption when possible. Â Thank you for your patience.
