Max Howard Cochran, 70, formerly of Wellington: Nov. 14, 1951 – Nov. 19, 2021

Max Howard Cochran died Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, of Covid-19 in Colorado at the age of 70.

He was born Nov. 14, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma. He was a 1970 graduate of Wellington High School.

Max worked for many years for the U.S. Forest Service, then as a building contractor.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Max is preceded in death by his parents Howard (H.P.) and Ruth (Gelvin) Cochran, a brother Michael Kent Cochran and a brother-in-law Robert E. King.

Survivors include son Chris, grandson Cameron and companion Dana Cotter. One sister, Meryl King, 3 brothers, Gerald (Liz) Cochran, Steven (Susie) Cochran, and John Cochran and sister-in-law Mary Cochran. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
