Medallion has been found!
Sumner Newscow report — Julene Sarchet, who had a registered button, found the Medallion this morning.
The Medallion was hidden half a mile south of the city dump in a Budweiser can taped to a broken sign post on the first bridge you reach.
“My granddaughter and I got up each morning and got clues first thing each morning,” Sarchet said in a hand written note to the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce. “We went to the dump because of P.U. clue.”
Sarchet said they then went to parks and Hargis Creek.
“After more clues we went back to dump road and looked some more – roads merged, bronze plaque on bridge,” she said. “We thought outside the box.”
The list of clues and what they meant are listed below. Sarchet will be given a $1,000 check sponsored by Sumner Newscow and Steve Page at the Picnic at the Park Wednesday evening.
