New City of Wellington working hours for Public Works and Cemetery office
Sumner Newscow report — The following notice was released by the City of Wellington:
PUBLIC WORKS OFFICE:
Effective Monday, June 24, 2024 – the Public Works Building located at 19 Industrial Ave. will operate under a new schedule, as follows:
Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Fridays – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (CLOSED FRIDAY AFTERNOONS).
For issues that require assistance (traffic sign down, debris in roadway, etc.) outside of these hours, please contact 620-326-2561, all other calls may leave a voicemail at 620-326-7831.
CEMETERY OFFICE:
Effective Monday, June 24, 2024 – Prairie Lawn Cemetery office hours will be:
Monday through Thursday – 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Fridays – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (CLOSED FRIDAY AFTERNOONS)
Special arrangements may be made in advance to have someone in attendance on weekends, after hours, or holidays by calling the office at 620-326-7937.
