By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — For much of the summer many of you have experienced logging on to this site and getting old stories and no updates despite Sumner Newscow operating as usual. This was due to a cache issue on our end not working correctly with certain web browsers.

It appears we have this fixed so you can get latest updates again on the home page and other pages like garage sales, obituaries, police and others. Sometimes, though, you need to empty your cache on your computer. This can be explained better by your computer manual than here. Sometimes, you may just want to throw away your old bookmark, google it and reboot another version of the site.
