Nothing like an earthquake in the rain
Sumner Newscow report — Nothing like a Thanksgiving weekend where you survive an earthquake in the rain.
Wellington had one soggy Thanksgiving holiday, receiving 3.8 inches of rain since Thanksgiving Day until 7:05 a.m. this morning. According to Sumner Newscow estimates, that makes for a total of 4.7 inches of rain in November.
As far as the earthquakes go, there was another one in the area early this morning. The epicenter was 15 miles west of Medford, Okla. at 3:49 a.m. with a magnitude of 4.5 and a depth of three miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s website.
