Olivia Martin

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, Olivia Vanay (Kreifels) Martin died at the age of 34.

She was born December 1, 1989, to the proud parents Jon and Lauree (McIntyre) Kreifels. She grew up outside Wellington, with her four younger brothers, Drake Kreifels (Emma), Klyde Kreifels (Maddie), Chance Kreifels (Rilee), and Landon Kreifels. Growing up, she loved being in the country, hanging out with friends, and attending high school football games. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 2008 and attended Friends University in Wichita.

Olivia worked in the banking and mortgage industry for over a decade and a half. Early in her career, she met her best friend, Annesette Manning, and made many other lifelong friends. In 2014, she met the love of her life, James Martin, and their daughter, Emma Martin. The couple would marry on October 27, 2017, in what she would call the perfect moment.

For many, Olivia was a bright light in their lives. She had one of the biggest hearts of anyone you’d ever meet. She loved driving through the countryside, listening to music, traveling, and exploring the world at any chance. One of her favorite things was making memories with her husband and daughter, going to Disney and crafting all the projects their hearts desired. Olivia loved to show others her love for them with cards, handmade gifts, and sometimes inappropriate pranks. Making others smile and feel loved was one of her greatest gifts, as she loved very deeply. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, godmother, and so much more.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jon Kreifels and Lauree Young, her two angel babies, and her nephew, Elijah Kreifels.

Olivia is survived by her husband, James Martin, daughter Emma Martin; bonus parents Douglas and Sharon Cannon, best friend Annesette (David) Manning, Aunt Chaney (Damon) Kraft, Uncle Alan (Linda) Kreifels, her four brothers (wives and children) and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and extended families.

Per Olivia’s request, there will be no services.
