Patty Jo (Keely) Hedden, 72, Udall: May 4, 1944 – August 22, 2016
Patty Jo (Keely) Hedden, 72, died Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home in Udall, KS surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Udall. Visitation will be held at the church Friday, prior to the service, from 9 to 10 a.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made out to “Patty J. Patty Jo Hedden was born in Winfield, KS on May 4, 1944 the daughter of Ella H. and Marion Wayne Keely. She graduated from the Udall Rural High School in 1962 and enjoyed living in the Udall area for many years. Patty was a hard worker, she was a waitress at the Big Dog Diner in Rock, KS and the Bankroll Café in Udall, KS; she was also employed at Cessna Aircraft Co. in Wichita, KS.
In her leisure time, Patty loved to keep her mind busy with jigsaw puzzles, dot-to-dots, playing bingo and taking trips to the casino; she was a wonderful cook and loved feeding people. She was a proud member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Udall, she was a part of the Ladies Auxiliary in Udall as well. Patty loved to travel, she loved to talk and visit with family and friends, but her most precious memories were the ones she made with her grandchildren.
She is survived by children: Delyn Hoffman, Ronald R. Hoffman, and James Milton Hedden; sisters Sharon Murray, Sandra Murray and brother Bill Walter.
Preceding her in death are her parents, and brother Gerald Wayne Keely.
