Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Mia!

Mia is on her second visit with us. She was once adopted out but brought back due to being a little overly clingy and too friendly! Mia brings a whole new meaning to “companion cat”! She wants to be with you always and do whatever you are doing. If you are sleeping…she’s there! If you are cooking…she’s there! Don’t even think of shutting her out of the bathroom! So if you are lonely and need a companion who absolutely LOVES you, then Mia is your girl!

Stop in this week to meet this special cat! We are open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. The WHS officials will go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
